The multi-talented designer Kristian Steinberg established his own label in 2007 with a collection of mens shirts. It quickly revealed Kristians innovative approach to cut and design which transpired into his signature ready-to-wear label of modern and wearable clothes with a difference.

Kristian Steinberg was born in Tallinn, Estonia in 1976. The family fled Soviet Union to start a

new life in Sweden, ‘Moving to Sweden and leaving everything behind taught me to start all over at any point, and with even stronger enthusiasm.’

Kristian rediscovered his love for fashion while doing a degree in Chemical engineering at the Royal University of Technology in Stockholm. He went on to study textile arts at University College of Arts Craft and Design and the famous Stockholm Academy – a strict institution specialised in traditional cutting and tailoring. At Central St Martins, Kristian continued to develop his unique style of anatomy inspired cutting and merged it with an ultra tailored look that was both edgy and

challenging. His graduation collection was chosen to represent St Martins menswear at Weekend Le Vif in Brussels.

Kristian Steinberg was an intern at Alexander McQueen 2003-2004 and worked subsequently with a number of London based designers both cutting and designing for them. He also collaborated with the made-to-measure shoe label The Left Shoe Company in Finland and taught fashion design at both Westminster College in London and EKA in Tallinn Estonia.

2014 Kristian was awarded the LFW International Showrooms prize as part of the Estonian exhibition.
